First Post; Anything Goes

Posted by cornflakejohnson on April 23, 2009

Yes, I know what your thinking, what an original title. Well thank you very much I thought of it myself. Obviously this is the first post of my blog if you couldn’t tell. My names Shane Davis, or as others call me, Cornflake Johnson. I’m a 20 year old college student who currently attends Robert Morris University in Western PA.¬† I started this blog to express my opinions on a variety of subjects, in fact I plan on blogging on anything that comes to my head on any given day. A good bit of the time will probably be spent talking about sports, mostly hockey, because I’m a huge hockey fan. Well lucky for me it just happens to be the best time of the year for hockey, the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Even if you are not a hockey fan you have got to enjoy the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Here are my picks for tonight:

Pens -Flyers

Pens coming back home with a 3-1 series lead after taking one of two games in Philly. With the atmosphere in the building, and the flyers dwindling hopes, I see the pens closing this series out with a 4-2 victory.

Red Wings-Blue Jackets

I really thought Columbus would give Detroit a better run for its money, but wow was I wrong. Detroit has removed Columbus’ balls through their anus’ and handed it to them in a doggy bag. Detroit closes out with a 4-2 victory.

Carolina won game 4 scoring a goal with .2 seconds remaining on the clock. This of course sent the hurricanes into a joyful celebration. On the other hand, the goal sent devils goalie Martin brodeur into a furious rage. The last person I want to face in the playoffs is a pissed of Martin Brodeur. Devils take game five  2-0.

The Sharks saved their playoffs with a victory at home to get back in the series 2-1. They also finally found some answers for Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller. If they play like they did in game 3 the Sharks give themselves a chance to win game 4. The Ducks seem to be playing too well to lose by a chance. Ducks win game four 3-2.

Before I go, if none of you have had the chance to check out the stand up of comedian Joe Rogan (yes, the guy from fear factor and ufc) go to his website and check it out. The man is fucking hilarious.
